I remember sitting in one of my favorite professors on campus classes (Professor Tranter) a few months ago as she begin mentioning having an idea box at home. Now I'm generally one of those people who can catch on to thought provoking words before anyone else, but this time I was stumped; yet it was quite simple. Write down an idea, and put it in the box. That simple!
_This has been the complete opposite of being in a funk for me. There is not a lack of ideas, yet, there are an abundance of ideas and I haven't quite honed in on one specific inspirational thought. Instead, I continue to build up more ideas in my mind thinking that the previous one was okay, but it's not as great as this idea.

Case and point, writing my poetry and cookbook. More so my poetry then the cookbook because I am making slight adjustments to my first concept/theme for the latter. As for my poetry, if I were to sit here and list every single idea I have right now, some of you would probably say "Well, why the heck don't you act upon it right now?"

Well that's the problem for me... It's not that I'm not acting upon them, because all of them have something in their glasses, but none of them are even halfway full.

Which is why I have decided to get an idea box today! Right after I take my admissions exam for CUNY (wish me luck), I'll most likely go to Office Depot (or Target) and find a suitable box, great enough to hold all of my ideas!

As for now... I will let you all know this. Poetry to me is like music to Adele and Taylor Swift. It's a way of expressing my emotions through words in the best way I can. I have been playing around with an idea in my head for a while, yet I think it's time to put it in the box when I get one and focus on the more personal poetry that I have. I'm kind of an indecisive person if you haven't noticed... but I'm working on changing that, I promise!

I really want to post a video up for you all to see... and I finally came to a solid concrete (you have my word on this) decision. My first poetry video is titled "Nice To Meet You Love" which I plan to have up sometime this week!

Well, I have to continue studying, I have an exam in a few hours. I hope you all have an amazing day!

Hmm... I've thought about this kind of thing, but in general I've found that the most worthy ideas will survive in my mind without having to be protected, until the time when I'm ready to do something about them.

I have to say, I'm a big confused by your minimally labelled 'Leave a reply' form. But it's nice to meet you, fellow Ninja!

Thank you Chris for stating your opinion. True, worthy ideas do survive in my head as well. There are a lot of ideas which seem okay at the moment., but can grow if I give them time to.

Confusing form? Yes... There are things I have to work out on my side to change it which should happen extremely soon. It's nice to meet you as well fellow ninja! I look forward to reading your blog and adding it to my list of blogs I follow.
